Tungsten Carbide Rods :
Tungsten Carbide Rod can be offered as straight simple solid carbide rod and also with coolant hole like single and double straight holes or double or triple helical holes carbide rod. We also manufacture Preform customized rod with or without step as per customer drawing.
Production process which our rods undergo is from mixing of powder to extrusion to sintering to shape forming to the last stage wherein tungsten carbide rods would be formed. All our rods are Hip sintered rods. Our rods are sintered in sintering furnace of type 1Mpa, 6Mpa and 10Mpa depending upon the different grades of rods and its application. Different grades manufactured are as below.

Application of Carbide Rods Grades as below:-
- 1.TCU06 tungsten carbide rod: This grade comes up with with high strength , high hardness and ultra fine grain size and used for making PCB micro-drills, micro size type milling cutter above diameter 1.2mm. This grade are used for machining high hardness materials.
- 2.TC06 tungsten carbide rod: Suitable for machining aluminum alloy , magnesium alloy, copper base alloy, plastic, graphite, iron-base alloy, carbon fiber etc. Drills and Endmills for the mentioned material machining can be made from this grade of rod.
- 3.TC08 tungsten carbide rod: This grade has high hardness and strenght making it suitable for machining acrylic material and also small dia. PCB drills and milling cutters above dia. 0.7mm
- 4.TC40 tungsten carbide rod: This is most common grade of carbide from which common standard drills and endmills are made for machining gray iron , die Steel , austenite steel and alloy steel..
- 5.TC40F tungsten carbide rod: This grade is being used by endmills and drills manufacturer which is recommended for machining of material whose hardness is below 50HRC. Basically used for machining material like Stainless Steel , Grey cast Iron and Titanium Alloy.
- 6. TC40S tungsten carbide rod : Best grade for machining 316 stainless steel material. Also circular cutters uses this particular grade.
- 7.TC44 tungsten carbide rod: This grade is used for making cutting tools like drill , reamer and endmills for machining of raw material like Titanium alloy , Heat resistant alloy , Hardened quenched steel above hardness 55HRC.
- 8.TC25 tungsten carbide rod: This grade is recommended for machining of heat treated steel with hardness greater than 45HRC and also for Stainless steel machining.
- 9.TC45 tungsten carbide rod: Grade is specially used for machining 60HRC and above heat treated steel and also machining titanium and heat resistant alloy.
- 10.TC55 tungsten carbide rod : This grade is being suggested for high hardness raw material machining above 65HRC.
- 11. TC90 tungsten carbide rod : This is specially developed grade for machining of material whose hardness is in range of 65-70HRC and for finish machining of 316 stainless steel material.
